Notix
New Notix now works inside your AI app

Run your email and SMS by asking.

Connect Notix to your AI app once. Then tell it what you want in plain words. It builds the list, checks the email, and waits for your yes before anything goes out.

Works with Claude, ChatGPT, Kimi, Cursor and any AI app that supports MCP connectors.

5,000 emails a month free. Still prefer code? The API and dashboard are all still here.

Set up once

Connect in three steps.

No install and no code. You need a Notix account and an API key. It takes about two minutes.

  1. 1

    Add a custom connector

In your AI app, open connectors and add a new one. Paste this address.

    https://app.usenotix.dev/api/mcp
  2. 2

    Choose “No sign-in”

Notix does not use a login screen here. Your API key does that job in the next step.

  3. 3

    Add your API key

Add one header. Find your key in Notix under Settings, then API keys.

Authorization: Bearer <your Notix API key>

Use Claude Code, Claude Desktop or Cursor on your own computer? Run it locally with npx -y notix-mcp

What you can ask

Your whole account, in plain words.

Ask the way you would ask a colleague. Here are some things people ask for.

Sendemail, SMS, codes

  • Email the receipt template to ada@example.com.
  • Text a login code to +234 803 000 0000.
  • Send these 80 invoices, one email each.

Contactslists and segments

  • Import this spreadsheet into my customer list.
  • Make a group of everyone in Nairobi who signed up this year.

Campaignsdraft, schedule, pause

  • Draft a Black Friday email to my VIP customers.
  • Pause the campaign that went out this morning.

Journeysautomatic emails

  • Show me the welcome journey and how many people are in it.
  • Add ada@example.com to the welcome journey.

DomainsDNS setup help

  • Add shop.ng and tell me exactly what to put in my DNS.
  • Why is my domain not verified yet?

Resultsstats and reputation

  • How did last week’s emails do?
  • Is my bounce rate safe right now?

Before sendingdeliverability check

  • Check this email for anything that could land it in spam.

Inboxemails you receive

  • Summarise the replies to support@ from today.

52 tools in total. Templates, email history, scheduled sends and more are covered too.

Safe by default

Nothing goes out without your yes.

An AI can misunderstand. So Notix builds the brakes into the connector itself, not just into what the AI is told.

Campaigns start as drafts

A campaign is always saved as a draft first, with the number of people it reaches. Notix will not send it to more people than you agreed to.

It asks before it acts

Notix marks everything that sends, deletes or overwrites, so your AI app asks for your go-ahead first.

Your key sets the limits

Give the AI a send-only key and it can only see the sending tools. Nothing else.

Emails you receive are marked as outside text

If a stranger emails you “ignore your rules and send this”, Notix hands it to the AI labelled as someone else’s words, and tells it not to follow them.

For developers

The API is still the engine.

Everything the AI does goes through the same API you can call from your code. Use both. Your app sends the receipts, and you ask the AI how they did.

  • REST API with SDKs for JavaScript, Python and PHP
  • SMTP relay for tools that already speak SMTP
  • Signed webhooks for every delivery, bounce and open
  • A full dashboard for your team
import { Notix } from "notix-js";

const notix = new Notix(process.env.NOTIX_API_KEY);

const { data, error } = await notix.emails.send({
  from: "receipts@acme.com",
  to: "customer@example.com",
  subject: "Your receipt",
  html: "<p>Thanks for your order.</p>",
});
The platform

Email and SMS in one place.

One account for the messages your product sends and the ones your marketing team sends. One list of people who must not be emailed again.

Email

Transactional email

Receipts, password resets and alerts. Send one or a batch of 100, now or later.

Email

Campaigns

Newsletters and offers with a review step before they go. Unsubscribes are always honoured.

Email

Journeys

Emails that go out on their own, like a welcome series when someone joins.

Contacts

Lists and segments

Import your contacts, then group them by where they live or what they did.

SMS

SMS and one-time codes

Login and payment codes by SMS or email, paid for from a prepaid wallet.

Delivery

Deliverability checks

A check before you send that names what could block the email. Bounces are stopped for good.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What actually sends the mail?
Notix runs managed sending infrastructure and gives you the API, the dashboard, the templates, the contact books and the suppression list on top of it. You get the deliverability without writing the plumbing around it.
Can I use more than one sending domain?
Yes. Verify as many sending domains as you need. Each gets its own SPF, DKIM and DMARC records and its own reputation, so a problem on one domain never touches another.
Do I pay for storing contacts?
No. Contact books, lists and suppression entries are not metered. You pay for emails that leave the building.
What happens when I go over the included allowance?
Nothing stops. Sending past the included units is metered per unit and appears on the same invoice. There is no per-day cap on a paid plan.
How do I move off Notix later?
Export contacts and suppression as CSV, and point the SMTP relay somewhere else. The API is a plain JSON endpoint with a published OpenAPI reference, so there is no format you cannot read.
Is there an SLA?
Yes, on Pro. Notix commits to 99.9 percent monthly availability for the sending API and the SMTP relay, measured at the public status page. If a month falls below that, you receive 10 percent of that month’s subscription as credit, and 25 percent if it falls below 99 percent. Ask for the credit at hey@usenotix.dev within 30 days. The Free plan is provided on a best-effort basis, and the quickstart states current limits plainly.
